With each hosting account supplied by Zakoo Designs you have the facility to add email accounts to your domain name. As well as set up email accounts there are other options for managing email.

Webmail
This gives you the chance to collect email from any computer on the move that you do not have an Outlook (or other email client) account set up on.
There are 3 webmail packages to choose from.

Email Domain Forwarding
A Domain Forwarder redirects all mail from any of your domains to another domain. For example, if you setup bob.com to redirect sam.com, any email sent to any address at bob.com will be sent to the corresponding user at sam.com (bob@bob.com would be sent to bob@sam.com). Any valid pop accounts existing on the domain that forwarding was set up on will still receive mail and no forward will be sent.
Add/Remove Accounts
Set up email accounts for your domain example anyname@yourdomainname.co.uk. As standard you are allocated 10 email accounts to set up. Should you require more please contact us we can arrange more accounts.
Default Address
All unrouted mail will be sent to the default address you specify. This means that if you set up bob@yourdomain.com and somebody sends an email to xxxxx@yourdomain.com the email will still get to you. This has its upsides as well as downsides, if you catch all email you risk an increased amount of spam. People who send spam email often guess at the prefix before the @ in order to send out email.
Autoresponders
These work by when somebody sends you an email the email server will send them a reply to acknowledge the email. An example of this would be if you were to go away on holiday for 2 weeks you could set up your email box to alert people you wont be there to deal with their request and refer them to somebody who can help.
E-mail Filtering
You can filter email that contains certain words in the headers or body, an example would be to filter the word viagra. Then you have the option what to do with it, delete it or forward it to another address.
Forwarders
You can have your email set up so that any email sent to bob@yourdomain.com will be sent to sam@yourdomain.com or any other email account you may run.
Spam Assassin
Spam Assassin is an automated mail filter that uses a wide range of heuristic algorithms on mail headers and message body text to identify "SPAM" (unsolicited email). Once identified, the mail is tagged as SPAM for later filtering using the user's desktop mail client.
